neubourg skin care has been developing and marketing medical skincare products for 20 years. Work in the independent, owner-run company is characterised by a family-like and personal atmosphere with flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths. The office environment also had to live up to this approach.
That was the request. But although the glass partition walls already installed throughout the building provided a bright and friendly atmosphere, their single glazing and the lack of a ceiling bulkhead in some places meant that they let sound carry from one workstation to the next. Thanks to a recommendation from one of our clients, who has had a positive experience with our glass partition walls in their daily working environment, neubourg commissioned us to redesign the space.
Our commission began with the service centre, where the noise pollution was particularly severe. The acoustic elements that had been added here were positioned incorrectly, with the result that they hardly worked. A systematic survey of all factors meant that our plan not only considerably improved the acoustics, it also optimised the division of space in such a way that 15 workstations could be accommodated instead of ten.
As we planned and coordinated the entire conversion project, neubourg received everything they needed from a single source: carpeted floors, acoustic ceilings, electrics including IT cabling, plasterboard work, air conditioning equipment, glass partition walls, acoustic elements, lighting and furniture.
The employees at neubourg skin care are so happy with the new office structure that now we have been asked to redesign the rest of the building in the same style. And, of course, everything will come from a single source once again.
